The cultural Association of the Employees of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus was established on 14th June 1999. It is based at EAC Head Office in Nicosia, but it has local clubs in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos.

The main purposes of the Association is the establishment and development of cultural spirit amongst its members, as well as the organizing, financing, developing and promotion of social, cultural and other related activities and performances.

Members of the Association are the permanent staff of EAC as well as pensioners, close relatives of EAC employees.

Under the auspices of the Cultural Association on a Pancyprian scale Dancing Groups, Athletic Groups (Football, Basket-ball, Yachting) a Choir, a theatrical workshop, as well as other Cultural Activities Groups.

The Cultural Association of the Employees of EAC, has presented a wide range of athletic, cultural and social activities and participated in various philanthropic events, and Folkloric Festivals in Cyprus and abroad. Few examples of such activities are:

• Theatrical performances in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos by the Limassol Theatrical Group.
• Participation and dancing performances in Folkloric Festivals in Rhodes, Hungary, Jordan by the Nicosia Dancing Group and in France together with the Larnaca Group.
• The Choir has participated in various Choir Festivals in Cyprus and in Athens. It also participated in various philanthropic and social activities and events.
• Participation in athletic activities and sports tournaments of the Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos Groups in various local non-professional tournaments.
