Message from the Area Manager  

I thank you for visiting our website and giving us the opportunity to inform you about the work of the Area Offices. 

The work of the Area is to provide to you, our customers high quality services relating to the work of EAC. These services range from payment of accounts to network construction and rectification of faults. Main service centres are our Area Office at Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos. In addition, however in each District we have smaller service centres for customers, known as CSC’s. 

For carrying out its work in a better manner, each Area is organized in Departments (a) Customer Service (b) Financial General Services, (c) Planning (d) Programming & Methods (e) Construction and maintenance. We recognize, however, that the overall service and the final product is achieved through the harmonious cooperation and the effective coordination between the Departments. Our notable personnel and the careful selection of our collaborators undoubtedly constitute a guarantee for success in our targets.  

The aim of the Area is to afford the best service to you, our customers. The pursuit of all of us as personnel of the Area is to do everything possible to serve you and respond in the best possible manner whether a query relates to payment of account by existing customers, or seeking of information/ clarifications in connection with charges or whether it concerns customers requiring new connection or even new network. We respect the customer, his needs, his investments but also his demands for a continuous and reliable qualitative supply of electricity at the lowest possible price. 

For these reasons in the Sector of Customer Service, the Area is certified to the ISO 9001 system, as Organisation we have chosen to be bound to abide by the Customer Charter with guaranteed services and at the ground floor of our offices we provide a customer’s suggestions/ complaints box. 

In addition however, there is also a dynamic renovation of means we are using by the introduction of the information technology in critical sectors such as the Enterprise Resource Management System SAP for example, the remote switching system SCADA for distribution Networks, and very soon the system for customers and accounts management Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), while in the technical sector for abolishing paper in drawings and creating information base the electronic drawing will be introduced as well as its electronic movement within the context of Digitalisation – GIS project.

I would like to reassure you that constant focus for all of us at the Areas is the continuous improvement and that our daily aim is to serve you better.
