Biomass
With the term biomass we mean wood, plant and forestry refuse (products of pruning, straw, sawdust, kennels), the animal refuse (animal dung, useless fishing matches), plants cultivated in energy plantations intended especially for use as a source of energy, as well as urban refuse and industrial waste of the food industry and agricultural industry.
The main uses of biomass are:
> Greenhouse heating
> Heating of buildings by combustion of biomass in individual/central burners
> Energy production in agricultural industrial premises
> Energy production in wood industrial processing
> Remote district heating which is the space and water heating in a number of buildings, a settlement, a village or a town, from a central heat production station. The heat is transferred through insulated network of piping from the combustion station to the buildings to be heated
> Biological process for waste treatment and energy production
