Saving Energy
The term energy saving denotes the restriction of the imprudent use of electricity is the reduction of waste to the maximum possible degree. Saving of energy does not number any circumstances imply deprivation of ones self but it means that one should use so much electricity in his home or workplace as is necessary to cover one’s daily needs.
We must indeed save energy because electricity which constitutes the motive force behind a large number of human activities is generated mainly from non renewable energy sources (oil etc) and hence over consumption leads to faster depletion of the energy reserves of the earth. In addition, electricity is especially expensive since the generation cost is influenced by many factors (rate of exchange, oil prices, generation technology used). Most important, however, is the fact that generation of electricity from conventional fuels is extremely damaging to the environment since great quantities of carbon dioxide and monoxide, sulphur dioxide etc are released into the atmosphere.
Thus, by reducing senseless consumption of electricity we prolong the existence of the natural energy reserves and we limit pollution of the atmosphere while at the same time we save money.
