Geothermal
Geothermal energy is a subtle form of energy from a renewable energy source which with present technological possibilities can cover heating energy needs, and in certain cases generate electrical energy. The temperature of the geothermal fluid or steam varies from area to area and can attain values from 25oC to 350oC. In the cases where the geothermal fluid has high temperature (over 150oC) the geothermal energy is mainly used for the generation of electricity. When the temperature is lower geothermal energy is utilized for the heating of dwellings, greenhouses, animal rearing farms, fish farms etc.
