Hydroelectric Energy

Hydroelectric energy, as the potential energy of water is called, is a traditional farm of energy which has been in use for many years.  Water falling from a certain height or running at a high speed can turn wheels with fin blades (hydro turbines).  This rotation is utilized for generating electrical energy in special installations (hydroelectric power stations).
