As part of the ongoing effort by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus to upgrade its services and serve its customers as efficiently as possible, the Distribution System Operator - DSO(EAC) has decided that the supply of electricity to thermal accumulators (that operate on the basis of the thermal energy storage tariff, code 56) will be continuous between the hours of 18:00 - 7:00, for all load groups during the summer period 1 April 2020 - 31 October 2020, except for group I (A02-13, Pottery / Bakeries).
The new timetable will be implemented from 1st April 2020 – 31st October 2020. Supply hours for load group I (A02-13, Pottery / Bakeries) will remain as applicable today, throughout the year.
The DSO (EAC) reserves the right to discontinue the supply in cases where this is required for the safe operation of the electrical system.
