*Please note that the copy of your ID/Passport document, will be deleted as soon as your identity has been confirmed.
  • Visit any Customer Service Centre

You may visit any Customer Service Centre and sign an Electricity Supply Agreement with EAC Supply after presenting the required documents mentioned below.

Before signing an Electricity Supply Agreement with EAC Supply, it is an essential prerequisite that your property is connected to the EAC grid.

The procedure followed before the signing of an Electricity Supply Agreement with EAC Supply depends on the type of application: New Connection, Reconnection or Transfer of Supply (Change of Tenant/Change of Name):

  • New Connection

Applications for a new connection are initially made to Regulated Activity Distribution.

Once a date has been arranged for an inspection of the electrical installation on your property, you may sign an Electricity Supply Agreement with EAC Supply one to five days before the date of inspection.

New Connection Charges

Connection charges are determined by the Regulated Activity Distribution and will appear on the customer's next electricity bill.

  • Transfer of Supply (Change of Tenant/Change of Name)

In cases of a change of tenant or a change of name, the new customer must transfer the electricity supply to his/her name by signing a new Electricity Supply Agreement with EAC Supply. The new customer will open a new account in his/her name and the Electricity Supply Agreement will automatically be terminated to the previous customer, whose account will be closed.

An essential prerequisite for the signing of a new Electricity Supply Agreement, in cases where there is already an active account, is the consent of the existing customer to the termination of his/her Electricity Supply Agreement regarding the specific property.

If communication with the existing customer is not possible, the new customer must sign a solemn declaration by which he/she confirms that there is no other customer and/or tenant on the property.

Supply Transfer Charges

For transfer of supply, the charge is €15 + VAT. This is a charge of Regulated Activity Distribution.

  • Reconnection/Reactivation of Supply

In cases where the electricity supply has been disconnected, before the signing of an Electricity Supply Agreement with EAC Supply, the new customer must check whether an inspection of the electricity installations on the property is required by the Rules/Processes of Regulated Activity Distribution.

Reconnection Charges

Reconnection charges are determined by the Regulated Activity Distribution and will appear on the customer's next electricity bill.
