Notification for disconnection of PV systems from the distribution network
PV system owners with installed PV capacities in the range 7,14kWp – 499kWp in Nicosia Area are hereby informed of the disconnection of their systems from the distribution grid on Monday, 01/05/2023. The above measure has been deemed necessary by the Transmission system Operator (TSOC) in order to ensure the safety and stability of the power system.
Low electricity demand in conjunction with the weather conditions of this period have necessitated the above measure.
All affected PV system owners are advised to verify the normal operations of their systems following the restoration of the connection.
