EAC Customer Service Centres reopen on Wednesday 6 May

Consumers urged to ensure timely payment of electricity bills

Following its recent announcement, EAC wishes to remind the public that its Customer Service Centres (CSC) will reopen on Wednesday 6 May 2020.

Since the CSCs will be implementing all necessary health protection measures, EAC asks that consumers show understanding of the longer times that may be required to serve them, in particular when paying their electricity bills. In this unprecedented situation, we are making every effort to respond as quickly as possible to every need that may arise.

For their own safety and convenience, customers are encouraged to seek online or telephone assistance and to pay their bills in the same way. The contact telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and fax numbers of all Area Supply Offices can be found online at www.eac.com.cy

There can be no doubt that this is a difficult time. EAC Customer Service Officers are there to help consumers and each individual case is examined in a socially sensitive manner, bearing in mind the principle of equal treatment for all. Special care is provided to EAC customers belonging to vulnerable groups.

In the new reality that we are experiencing, it is very important that all customers settle their bills on time. Such practice guarantees the stability of the power system and the uninterrupted supply of electricity for the whole of society, the economy and the country.

With the help of everyone, EAC will be able to deal with the energy challenge in this new Cyprus.
