Blood is life. For the last 35 years, the Electricity Authority of Cyprus has played its part in the efforts to cover our fellow citizens' blood requirements. In collaboration with the Blood Bank, EAC organises blood drives at all its Area Offices and Power Stations.
Moreover, in collaboration with the Karaiskakio Foundation, EAC personnel participates in sampling in order to find the greatest possible number of matching bone marrow donors.
On Friday 24 September, blood donation and bone marrow sampling of EAC personnel took place at the Authority's Head Offices. Recently, a blood drive was held at the Nicosia Area Office, while similar sessions have taken place at the other Area Offices and Power Stations.
