EAC Customer Service Centres to Reopen on Wednesday 6 May

Consumers are still encouraged to prefer online and telephone service

Following the Government's announcements on the planned gradual loosening of restrictions from next week, EAC announces that its Customer Service Centres (CSC) will reopen to the public on Wednesday 6 May. They will adhere strictly to all measures required to protect the health of employees and visitors, in accordance with the protocols of the Ministry of Health's experts and with EAC's own action plan.

Protective counter shields and anti-bacterial handwash dispensers have been installed at customer contact points in all the CSCs. Employees have been supplied with face masks and gloves. Social distancing of measures will be strictly implemented to keep people 2 metres apart and to ensure that the maximum number of people on the premises remains in accordance with the rule of 1 person per 8 sq.m.

Despite these changes, for the sake of their own safety and comfort, consumers are still encouraged to seek online or telephone assistance as follows:

-       For new applications, connections, disconnections and transfers: By e-mail and/or fax.

-       For EAC bill payments:

  • By credit or debit card
  •  Via e-banking
  • By Direct Debit
  • By telephone

The contact telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and fax numbers of all Area Supply Offices can be found online at www.eac.com.cy

EAC Customer Service Centres and their staff are ready to provide all possible assistance to consumers. Despite the present adverse circumstances, continuous efforts are being made to respond as quickly as possible to all needs as they arise.
