Based on Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority's (CERA) Decision No. 112/2023, when the Avoidance Cost of Thermal Production of EAC's Generation is below 11 cent/kWh at Low Voltage, then the Purchase Price of Energy from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is equal to the current price of the Avoidance Cost of Thermal Production of EAC's Generation. When the Avoidance Cost of Thermal Production of EAC's Generation exceeds 11 cent/kWh, then the Purchase Price of Energy from RES is 11 cent/kWh at Low Voltage. The price for Medium and High Voltage, is calculated based on the average of the monthly loss factors of the six month-period and according to the current valid CERA's Decisions.
